OTP+ Pro: price, free trial and cancelling

What Pro adds

• OTP sender name — the name shown as the SMS sender.
• OTP message template — your own text for the code message. Use {code} where the code goes, for example "Your login code is {code}".
• Avatar — an Avatar letter, or your own logo. An uploaded logo replaces the letter.
• Disable the "Powered by OTP+" badge.

Core OTP and social login stay free, and so do verification gates, page locks and COD verification.

Price and free trial

• Pro costs $25 (USD) every 30 days. It's billed through Shopify, on your Shopify bill.
• You get a 30-day free trial. Cancel during the trial and you won't be charged.
• Each store gets one trial window. It starts the first time you activate Pro.
• If you uninstall during the trial and come back, you keep the days that are left. The trial clock keeps running while the app is uninstalled.
• If your trial is used up, billing starts when you approve.

Start Pro

1. Go to Settings > Customizations.
2. In the OTP+ Pro card, click Start free trial. (It may say Resume free trial or Upgrade to Pro, depending on your trial.)
3. Shopify shows its approval page. Approve the charge.
4. You return to OTP+. The card badge shows your trial days left, or Active.
5. Fill in the Pro fields and click Save in the bar at the top of the page.

Uploading a logo

1. Click Upload logo.
2. Pick a PNG, JPG, WEBP or SVG file.

The logo must be under 2 MB, roughly square, and at least 48×48 px. It shows in a 48×48 box. If you see "Your logo is still processing on Shopify", wait a few seconds and upload again.

Expected OTP volume

Pro stores are asked for Expected OTPs per day and Expected OTPs per month. We use these numbers to size your SMS plan. Without them, high volumes may hit shared limits.

Cancel Pro

1. Go to Settings > Customizations.
2. In the OTP+ Pro card, click Cancel Pro.
3. In Cancel OTP+ Pro?, you can pick a reason (optional).
4. Click Cancel subscription. Or click Keep Pro to stay.

Cancelling ends Pro right away:

• your custom sender name and message template stop applying,
• your logo is removed from the login widget,
• the "Powered by OTP+" badge shows again.

Your saved Pro values are kept. Subscribe again any time and they apply again.

India: DLT registration

In India, phone companies require businesses to register before they send branded SMS. This registration is called DLT.

• A custom OTP sender name and message template need DLT before they can go live in India.
• Your sender name must be your DLT-registered header.

After you start Pro on a store based in India:

1. The OTP+ Pro card shows a DLT message.
2. Click Contact support about DLT. We can register for you, or verify a DLT you already hold.
3. Open Documents we'll need (7) to see the list. Click Share documents on chat to send it to us.

The documents are:

• PAN card of the company
• Letter of Authorization on company letterhead
• Agreement letter on company letterhead
• Signature of the authorized person on the Letter of Authorization
• Identity of the authorized person (PAN card or Aadhaar card)
• Proof of business (e.g. GST document)
• Address proof of the business (ideally matching the GST document)

The badge shows your status: DLT registration started, then DLT registered or DLT verified. Your custom sender name and template go live once registration is approved.

Common problems

"Your Pro subscription is paused over a Shopify billing issue." Settle your bill in your Shopify admin. Pro reactivates automatically.

"You already have an active Pro subscription — refresh the page." Reload the page. Your Pro is already on.

"Couldn't open Shopify's approval page." Click the button again.

The Pro fields are greyed out. Pro isn't active on your store. Start the trial or upgrade first.
