Terms of Service - Securify for Gorgias

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Securify integration for Gorgias (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The App is developed and maintained by siimple.ai (“we”, “us”, or “our”). If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the App.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of the App

Securify for Gorgias is a sidebar widget integration that displays email fraud risk intelligence inside Gorgias support tickets. The App provides:

Email risk tier and IPQS fraud score for each customer
Disposable email and VPN/proxy detection
Automatic ticket tagging based on risk levels (risk:high, fraud-risk, disposable-email, vpn-user, securify:tagged, risk:pending-order)
Ability to apply securify:high-risk tags to Shopify customer profiles from within Gorgias

Risk scores are informational and should be used as part of a broader fraud prevention strategy — not as the sole basis for business decisions.

3. Pricing

The Securify Gorgias integration is free to install and use. All features are included at no cost. There are no additional charges, paid tiers, or usage limits.

4. OAuth2 Permissions and Data Access

The App connects to your Gorgias account via OAuth2 and requests the following scopes:

tickets:read — to match customer emails to risk profiles
customers:read — to look up customer emails in our threat database
tags:write — to auto-apply risk tier tags to tickets
widgets:write — to render the Securify sidebar widget
integrations:read — to read app settings
macros:read — for future macro suggestion features

The App does not have write access to tickets, messages, or customer data beyond tags. No customer data is written or modified in Shopify without explicit agent action, unless auto-tagging is enabled in Securify settings.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The App reads customer emails from Gorgias tickets and queries pre-built scan results from Securify's database. No customer PII is sent to third parties at ticket-open time.

We do not sell your data. We access data from your connected platforms solely to provide the fraud risk intelligence service.

6. Permitted Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Use the App to discriminate against customers based on protected characteristics
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App without our written consent
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Fraud scores and risk classifications are based on automated analysis and may contain false positives or false negatives. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any risk assessment.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, siimple.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, chargebacks, data loss, or business disruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Since the App is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed zero dollars ($0).

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from Gorgias (Settings → App Store → Securify → Uninstall) or disconnecting from Securify (Settings → Integrations → Gorgias → Disconnect).

We may terminate or suspend your access at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon uninstall, the widget stops rendering and webhooks are removed. Your Securify scan data is retained — you can reconnect at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
