Connect Securify to Gorgias
Securify's Gorgias integration shows each customer's fraud risk profile directly inside every support ticket — before you respond. This guide walks you through installation and first setup.
Requirements
- Gorgias account (any plan)
- Shopify store (to use tagging features)
- Admin access to Gorgias
Step 1 — Install from the Gorgias App Store
- Go to app.gorgias.com → Settings → App Store
- Search for Securify
- Click Install
- You'll be redirected to the Securify authorization page
Step 2 — Authorize Securify
On the authorization page, you'll see the list of permissions Securify is requesting:
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
openid • offline | Secure authentication with token refresh |
account:read | Read account info to configure the integration |
integrations:read • integrations:write | Create the HTTP integration and sidebar widget automatically |
customers:read | Look up customer email to query the risk database |
tickets:read | Read ticket data to match customer email |
Click Authorize to complete the connection.
No customer data is written or modified without explicit agent action.
Step 3 — Connect your Shopify store
After authorization, you'll see the Settings page where you can connect your Shopify store. This enables:
- Shopify tag status in the widget
- One-click “Apply High Risk Tag” button
- Open risky orders count
If you skip this step, the widget will still show risk data — you can connect Shopify later from the settings page.
Step 4 — You're connected
After setup:
- The Securify sidebar widget will automatically appear in every Gorgias ticket
- The widget refreshes automatically when tickets are created, updated, or receive new messages
- No further configuration required

Troubleshooting
Widget not showing in tickets?
Check that the customer email is present on the ticket. The widget only renders when an email is available. Also ensure the ticket was created after the integration was installed.
“NO DATA — Email not yet scanned” showing?
This email hasn't been validated yet. Click Scan Again to trigger an on-demand scan.
“Connect Shopify in Settings” showing?
Your Shopify store isn't connected. Go to the Securify settings page to connect it.
Widget not refreshing after actions?
The widget auto-refreshes on ticket events. If data appears stale, reload the page.
